How rakeback works
Every bet you place has a house edge baked in. Rakeback hands a slice of it back. With code PACTBONUS that slice is 3.5% of the house edge on the amount wagered, credited to your VIP rewards balance as you play and claimable whenever you like. It does not depend on winning, on the bonus, or on your VIP level. Stake’s own definition: “3.5% of the house edge back on every game you play.”

Many affiliate pages quote rakeback as a share of the bet itself and arrive at numbers a hundred times larger. Those numbers are wrong. The rebate is small; its value is that it is permanent, unconditional and stacks with everything below.

The VIP levels
Stake’s VIP club is driven by one number: total wagered on the account, across casino and sports, over its lifetime. There is no monthly reset and no invitation step. The tiers and thresholds as published by Stake:

How it stacks with the code
- The 3.5% rakeback from the code is separate from VIP rewards; you get both.
- Wagers on the code also count toward the monthly Pactbonus leaderboard, so one bet feeds three things: rakeback, VIP progress and the race.
VIP host
From the higher tiers Stake assigns a host who can arrange custom reloads. That is between you and Stake; we do not sit in on it and we do not get a cut of it.
Weekly Boost
Every Saturday Stake posts a Weekly Boost link for Bronze and above. The amount is calculated from your wagering during the preceding week, so a quiet week produces a small boost and a heavy week a larger one. It is credited as cash to the balance, carries no wagering requirement, and the link expires, so claim it the day it arrives. The exact formula is not published; in practice it tracks your net play more closely than your raw turnover.
Monthly bonus
The monthly bonus lands around the 15th for players who were active during the month, sized by play and by VIP level. Stake also runs pre-monthly and post-monthly bonuses around the same date for the most active accounts. Like the Weekly Boost it is cash with no wagering attached. Nothing to do to qualify beyond playing during the month; check the notification bell if you think you missed one, because unclaimed bonuses expire.
Reloads
A reload is a fixed amount claimable once a day (or more often) for a set number of days, typically 15 or 30. It is arranged with your VIP host rather than posted automatically, which is why it starts at the Platinum tiers. Miss a day and that day is gone; the reload does not accumulate. If your host offers one, take the claim schedule seriously.
How to claim rakeback
- Open your profile and choose the VIP panel.
- Select the rakeback tab. The accrued balance is shown per currency.
- Press claim. It moves to your main balance immediately and can be withdrawn like any winnings once the account is verified.
There is no minimum, no deadline and no wagering. Claim it whenever; it accrues on every casino bet in between.
Is chasing VIP worth it?
No, not as a goal. Reaching Bronze means $10,000 wagered, which at a 4% slot edge is $400 lost on average to unlock a level-up bonus worth a fraction of that. The VIP rewards are a rebate on play you were going to do anyway; they never turn a losing game into a winning one. Treat them like the rakeback: nice when they arrive, never a reason to bet more.
