Signing up on Stake and getting verified

What you need

• To be 18 or older, in a country where Stake operates. See availability.
• An email address you control.
• For verification later: government photo ID, and a proof of address dated within three months.
• The code: PACTBONUS

Registering with the code

1. Open Stake via our link and choose Register.
2. Email, username, password, date of birth. Use your legal name details exactly as on your ID.
3. Enter PACTBONUS in the code field. This is what turns on the 200% bonus and the 3.5% rakeback.
4. Confirm your email. Enable two-factor authentication in settings while you are there.

Verification levels

Do Level 2 the day you register. A verified account withdraws in minutes; an unverified one waits for document review on the day it wants its money.

Why verification fails

• Name variants. A middle name on the ID but not in the profile, or the other way round.
• Bad photos. Glare, cropping, or a screenshot of a scan. Photograph the full document on a flat surface.
• Old proof of address. Older than three months is rejected.

Set your limits on day one

Stake offers deposit, loss and wager limits and self-exclusion under Settings. Set a deposit limit before the first deposit, when the decision is not being made mid-session. More on responsible gambling.

Two-factor authentication

1. Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
2. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.
3. Enter the six-digit code to confirm, and store the backup key somewhere that is not your phone.

With 2FA on, withdrawals, email changes and password changes each ask for a code. Losing the backup key means a support ticket and identity verification to regain access, so keep it.

Documents that pass first time

Reviews in our recordings came back within hours for clean documents. Every rejection we have seen traced to a crop, a date or a name mismatch, not to the document type.

Changing details later

Email and password change under Settings with a 2FA prompt. Name and date of birth are locked once verified; if they were entered wrong at registration, contact support before verifying rather than after. Address changes go through support with a new proof of address. Username can be changed once in most cases.

Account security checklist

• A unique password stored in a manager, never reused from another site.
• 2FA with an authenticator app, backup key stored offline.
• Withdrawal email confirmations left on.
• Session list checked occasionally under Settings → Sessions; sign out anything you do not recognise.
• No Stake login through links in messages. Type the address or use a bookmark.
