What rakeback is worth, honestly
Most affiliate pages describe Stake rakeback as a percentage of your bets. It is not. Stake defines it as a percentage of the house edge on each bet: with code PACTBONUS you get 3.5% of the edge back. What the code does not give you
- No no-deposit bonus. Stake.com does not hand out free money for registering. Pages promising a “Stake no deposit bonus” are describing Stake.us sweepstakes coins, a different product for a different country, or are making it up.
- No free spins. Free spins appear as part of promotions such as Pragmatic Drops & Wins or as VIP reloads, not from the code.
- No bonus for an existing account. The code is a registration offer. If you already have a Stake account, the deal is the rakeback you may already have, plus the leaderboard if you play under the code.

Bonus code, referral link, drop code: the difference
- Bonus code / referral code / promo code all mean the same thing on Stake: a word entered once, at registration, that attaches an affiliate offer to the account. Ours is PACTBONUS.
- Referral link is the same offer delivered through the URL. Our link pre-fills the code; typing it yourself is fine too.
- Bonus drop code is a different thing entirely: a small, time-limited credit Stake posts on social media for existing players. It has nothing to do with the welcome offer and you can use both.
Mistakes that void the bonus
- Depositing before entering the code. The most common one. The offer attaches to the first deposit only.
- Missing the 24-hour window. Stake lets you add a code under Settings → Offers only within 24 hours of registration.
- Depositing under the minimum. A $20 deposit gets no bonus; a $50 one does.
- Betting above the max bet. Bets above the cap while the bonus is active can void the bonus and its winnings.
- Withdrawing early. A withdrawal request before wagering is complete forfeits the remaining bonus.
- A second account, or a VPN. Both breach the terms and are found at verification, not at signup.
Who the deal is right for
Take the bonus if you were going to deposit $50 or more anyway and you will play enough to wager it through within the window. Slots and Originals count in full and are the sensible place to run it.
